The Operations Manager position at Sajag Charitable Trust in Kalyan, Maharashtra, is designed for an individual with strong leadership and problem-solving skills to oversee operations and ensure smooth processes within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and Mentoring:

  • Develop and implement Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks, indicators, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly reviews with the team to track progress and provide guidance.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on program progress and results for stakeholders.
  • Maintain a centralized database for program data and document best practices and success stories.

Training and Capacity Building:

  • Provide training and facilitate workshops to promote continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with program managers to integrate M&E findings into planning and decision-making.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and expense monitoring.
  • Analyze financial data for effective budget utilization.

Program Operations Support:

  • Collaborate with program managers to support program operations, including project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as donors, partners, and government agencies.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in operations management, with a track record of optimizing performance.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and solid understanding of financial management and budgeting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Willingness to travel to schools, government offices, and community locations as required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

  • 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
