Program Overview:

Offered By: Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India
Objective: Recognize and reward scientists in Biology and Biotechnology
Beneficiary: Selected fellows
Fellowship Amount: ?25,000 per month in addition to a regular salary from the host institute
Contingency Grant: Provided annually for various research-related expenses
Eligibility: Indian nationals residing in India, below 55 years of age, possessing a Ph.D. or master's degree with relevant experience and track record

Eligibility Criteria:

Indian nationality, below 55 years of age
Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, or master's degree in Medical Sciences, Engineering, or related areas
Minimum 5 years of post-doctoral research experience
Outstanding research publications and contributions
Salary from an international organization may affect eligibility for separate research grant
