Job Role – Community Mobilizer

A Community Mobilizer connects development programs with the community, facilitates participation, and promotes positive behavior change for long-term social impact. The role involves engaging women, children, and marginalized groups to strengthen awareness and ensure access to essential services.

Key Responsibilities

Mobilize and engage women, adolescent girls, and marginalized groups to participate in project activities.
Conduct community meetings, awareness campaigns, and group sessions on issues like health, education, sanitation, nutrition, and gender-based violence.
Identify local needs by interacting with community members and share inputs for project planning.
Facilitate linkages between the community and government schemes/services.
Support implementation of programs in health, education, WASH, livelihoods, and gender empowerment.
Monitor behavior change, participation levels, and community feedback.
Maintain documentation of activities, success stories, and challenges.
Coordinate with field staff, government officials, and partner organizations.
Act as a bridge between the community and the project team.

Eligibility

Education: Minimum 12th pass
Experience: Prior experience in community mobilization/development work preferred
Skills: Good communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
