Role Summary
Develop engaging, evidence-based curriculum content for Chimple’s app to improve foundational literacy and numeracy in primary school children. The role involves creating innovative, interactive content aligned with educational standards and collaborating with teams to enhance the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Design
- Develop lesson plans, activities, and assessments aligned with educational standards.
- Ensure content is age-appropriate, culturally relevant, and pedagogically sound.
Digital Content Creation
- Convert curriculum into digital formats like games, videos, and quizzes.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure user-friendly designs.
Research and Alignment
- Stay updated on literacy/numeracy education trends.
- Align content with local curriculum requirements and address learning challenges.
Quality Assurance
- Pilot-test and refine curriculum based on feedback.
- Ensure content clarity and effectiveness.
Training and Support
- Create training materials for teachers.
- Conduct workshops/webinars for app integration in teaching.
Collaboration and Monitoring
- Work with developers, educators, and stakeholders.
- Analyze feedback to continuously improve content.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education, Curriculum Development, or related fields.
- Experience:
- Proven curriculum design experience in primary education.
- EdTech platform experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong pedagogy and instructional design expertise.
- Proficiency in digital content creation.
- Familiarity with national curriculum frameworks/local languages is a plus.
