BPSC TRE 4.0 Educational Qualification

Primary Teacher – Class 1 to 5

Candidates may be eligible through the prescribed combinations such as:

• Graduation with Diploma in Elementary Education, or
• 12th with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Diploma, or
• 12th with 45% marks as per applicable norms + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
• 12th with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed., or
• Master’s Degree with 55% marks + B.Ed.-M.Ed. 3-year course.

Candidates must also possess the required CTET Paper I or BTET Paper I qualification, as applicable.

Middle School Teacher – Class 6 to 8

Relevant qualifications include:

• Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed., or
• Graduation with 50% marks + B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.Ed., or
• Graduation + Diploma in Elementary Education.

The prescribed CTET Paper II qualification is also required as applicable.

TGT Teacher – Class 9 to 10

Candidates may require:

• Graduation in the relevant subject with 50% marks + B.Ed., or
• Graduation in the relevant subject with 45% marks as per applicable norms + B.Ed., or
• Four-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Candidates must also meet the prescribed STET Paper I requirement.

PGT Teacher – Class 11 to 12

Candidates may require:

• Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks + B.Ed., or
• Master’s Degree with 45% marks as per applicable norms + B.Ed., or
• Master’s Degree in the relevant subject + four-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed., or
• Master’s Degree with 55% marks + B.Ed.-M.Ed. 3-year course.
