Job Description
The Project Technical Coordinator will lead the entire team of project staff, field workers and community volunteers in the organization. He/she will supervise the project staff and to implement project activities that address solutions for drinking water crises. He/she will work with a project team at the grassroots level to supervise water structures constructed by village communities in Jaipur Division.
The person should be able to develop and write concept notes and project proposals. He/ She should be able to work independently and respond to international funding agencies periodically on the project progress and achievements.
Responsible for the management and supervision of all project activities assuming full responsibility for delivery of project outputs.
Assume primary responsibility for daily project management - both organizational and substantive matters – budgeting, planning and general monitoring of the project.
Ensure collection of relevant data necessary for pre and post project requirements.
Assume overall responsibility for reporting on project progress vis-à-vis indicators in the log-frame.
Assume overall responsibility for timely reporting to the donor on project progress through donor reports and case studies.
Organising and participate in staff training and beneficiary trainings on a regular monthly/weekly basis.
Desired Candidate Profile
The candidate should be a Graduate/Postgraduate in either English, Communication, Economics or Social Sciences from a reputed university.
Candidates must have excellent writing and communication skills in English with fluency in written and spoken Hindi.
Should have strong documentation and report writing abilities. General awareness and knowledge of current affairs will be preferred.
Experience in the Development Sector of at least 12 years in project management in rural areas in an NGO is very essential. If the candidate is from the CSR/Private Sector background, he/she should have 15 years field experience with independent management of teams.
The candidate should be in the age group of 35 to 45 years, physically fit and willing to spend 15 days on field visits in rural areas in Jaipur Division.
Candidate should have leadership skills and be able to inspire the team by personal example, to achieve focused project outputs.
Candidates with less than required experience and qualification will not be considered for this position.
Remuneration
Budgeted consolidated remuneration is Rs.15 lacs per annum, entirely depending on evaluation of the candidate’s potential, qualification, experience, and job retention ability. We provide enormous opportunities for individual career growth to those who excel in a challenging work environment.
