Roles & Responsibilities – News Analyst

Monitor and analyze real-time news and data streams.

Detect and investigate errors in news alerts and captions.

Cross-check information against social media posts for accuracy.

Write and edit captions for social media and internal use.

Apply business rules for data validation and quality assurance (QA).
-
Improve the quality of datasets by auditing algorithm outputs.

Stay updated with policies, processes, and tools.

Participate in user research to improve QA tools.
-
Adapt to rapidly changing workflows and priorities.
Skills Required

Graduate degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Political/Social Sciences, or related fields.

Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience (or willingness to learn) news tracking and QA tools.

Goal-oriented and adaptable mindset.

Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
