JOB DESCRIPTION:
The We Foundation is looking for a hands-on, goal-oriented, and high-energy corporate fundraising professional, to ensure continuing momentum to the organization’s programming growth plans, aggressively raising funds from national and multinational corporates and stewarding/ managing relationships.
The proposal writer and Fund Raiser for Corporates and Government is responsible for developing winning proposals through strategic messaging, ensuring we are articulating the best story and value to Corporates/Government donors in compelling and differentiated ways, developing innovative deliverables to visually tell that story, and strong project management.
In TWF, the Proposal Writer and Fund raiser shall play a dual role and may find himself or herself drafting proposals within strict timelines, liaising with clients, interacting, and brainstorming with our in-house researchers, writing the most impactful proposal for social change and as desired by Corporates/Government. It is expected that he/she will already have a network with CSR and Government and shall build the network further for the Foundation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Research companies, non-profits, RFPs, and grants and write and submit project proposals within timelines.
• Write documents/ presentations that help with business development
• Edit written documents in a professional and credible manner
• Help create strategies that help with the proposal development
• Rewrite proposals according to feedback
• Do presentations and create project schedules
• Have excellent communication skills in English
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
• Masters in Social Work /MBA / MA in English
• 3-5 years of experience in donor liaising
• 2 years of proven experience in proposal writing
• Understand and explain complex technical concepts.
• Write clear and concise proposals and concept note.
• Strong research and analytical skills and can work on strict timelines.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Women candidates shall be given preference
