PM Modi launches Rs 24,470 crore redevelopment project for 508 railway stations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a Rs 24,470 crore redevelopment project for 508 railway stations across India on Sunday. The project, which is being executed under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, aims to enhance passenger amenities and improve railway infrastructure.
 
The foundation stone for the redevelopment of the 508 stations was laid virtually by the Prime Minister from his residence in Delhi. The stations that are being redeveloped are spread across 27 states and union territories, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
