The Maruti Suzuki Invicto is a new 7- or 8-seater MPV that is scheduled to be launched in India on July 5, 2023. It is a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Hycross and will be Maruti Suzuki's flagship model.
The Invicto is expected to be powered by the same 2.0-litre petrol engine and 2.0-litre petrol strong hybrid powertrain as the Innova Hycross. The petrol engine produces 174PS of power and 205Nm of torque, while the hybrid powertrain produces a combined output of 197PS. Both engines will be mated to an e-CVT automatic transmission.
The Invicto is expected to be offered in two variants: Alpha and Alpha+. The Alpha variant will be equipped with features such as LED headlights, LED taillights, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 4.2-inch MID, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a sunroof. The Alpha+ variant will add features such as a panoramic sunroof, leather seats, a JBL sound system, and a 360-degree camera.
The Invicto is expected to be priced between Rs 24 lakh and Rs 29 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Toyota Innova Crysta, Mahindra Marazzo, and Kia Carnival.
