Job Description- Personal Assistant cum HR Support

About the Organization:

Mahila Housing Sewa Trust (MHT) was founded as a Public Charitable Trust in 1994 and is based in Ahmedabad. It works on habitat improvement & development in urban slums through building knowledge, skills and confidence of women resident in these communities. As of date, it is present in 700-plus slums across 10 cities of India and employs around 80 people who work along-side a similar number of women it has trained in these slums. Our growing body of work, capacity on the ground and accompanying learning requires a dynamic professional.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage scheduling for Director, including agendas, correspondence via email, phone calls, client management, and other company logistics.

• Making travel arrangements with detailed travel plans, itineraries, agendas and completing expense reports.

• Maintaining event calendar, setting up meetings, screening visitors, organizing reports and documents, etc.

• Provide administrative and office support, such as typing, spreadsheet creation, power point presentations.

• Maintenance of filing system and contacts database.

• Support in the recruitment process – screening profiles and lining up interviews.

• Follow-up with candidates’ till joining.

• Conduct induction for new employees.

• Completing new employee documentation.

• Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.

• All other assigned work by the Director

Location:

This is a full-time position based at Ahmedabad.

She should be open to planned travel within India when necessary.

She should be committed to serving her contracts and commitments while working at MHT.

Qualifications:

Graduate – throughout in English Medium

2 years’ work experience

Skills required:

• Very good verbal and written communication skills

• Expert in MS office – excel & power point presentations,

• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.

• Excellent time management skills

• Well-developed organisational skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Professional discretion.

• An aptitude for learning new software and systems

Remuneration

Remuneration will be based on the qualifications & experience of the applicant. Please mention your current CTC and the applicable Notice period in your application.
