Manipur Progressive Secular Alliance (MPSA)
details

The Manipur Progressive Secular Alliance (MPSA) is a political alliance in India. It was formed in 2020 by the Indian National Congress (INC), the National People's Party (NPP), the Forward Bloc, the Revolutionary Socialist Party, and the Janata Dal (Secular). The alliance is led by Okram Ibobi Singh, the former Chief Minister of Manipur.

The MPSA was formed in response to the growing popularity of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Manipur. The alliance aims to provide a secular and progressive alternative to the BJP.

The MPSA contested the 2022 Manipur Legislative Assembly election as a united front. The alliance won 38 seats in the election, becoming the largest opposition party in the state.
