ABOUT WORLD COMICS INDIA
World Comics India promotes the use of grassroots comics globally through the world comics network. WCI has conducted more than 800 comics workshops globally and helped over 20,000 common people to express themselves using simple comics format. A number of comic campaigns have been organized to address several social issues in the most creative and participatory manner. WCI is now actively working in the field of environment, digital safety, Tribal rights, health, development and communication, etc.
Program Officer: World Comics India requires a Program Officer for a project on Nomadic Tribes in Alwar, Rajasthan
Qualification:
A master’s degree in social work with 2-3 years of experience in the development sector
Good command over English and Hindi (both written and spoken)
Readiness to travel
Effective training and communication skills
Sound values and work ethics
Responsibilities:
Planning and organizing trainings and exhibitions, facilitating communication workshops
Writing reports and case studies, documenting work, content writing and review, etc.
Planning and implementing activities in coordination with program head
Any other role or responsibility assigned by the project head
Salary: Negotiable
