Established in 1995, Make-A-Wish Foundation India is a non-profit organization that has fulfilled 82,544 wishes across 11 office locations across India since its inception. Make-A-Wish Foundation is the largest and only wish-granting organization in India and dedicated to granting wishes of children between the ages of 3 and 18 years, living with life-threatening illnesses, irrespective of their socio-economic status, caste, race or religion.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the CEO, the Fundraising Manager shall be responsible for developing and implementing successful strategies for fundraising, diversifying the donor portfolio, and strengthening the existing donor pipeline, by securing their continued financial support, as well as building durable relationships with them.
Key Deliverable:
(1) Develop and execute fundraising strategies, identify and implement innovative fundraising strategies to generate funds;
(2) Build and manage new partnerships with large corporates, foundations and HNIs;
(3) Undertake market research and maintain and track a portfolio of existing and potential donor companies and organizations;
(4) Work collaboratively with the program team to develop proposals that match organisational needs with funder priorities;
(5) Forge long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with business houses to raise funds for ongoing projects.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification
Graduate degree in Business, Social Sciences, or other related fields.
Experience:
(1) Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in the area of fundraising;
(2) Demonstrated experience of successfully fundraising at least Rs. 1 crore annually for social causes from bilateral and multilateral organizations, institutional donors, foundations, corporate CSR entities, and high net-worth individuals;
(3) Should be familiar with online and offline fundraising approaches;
(4) Proven track record of building, developing, and managing, key stakeholder, client, and donor relationships.
Skills and Competencies:
(1) Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
(2) Demonstrated track record of maintaining key donor relationships, as well as establishing new partnerships;
(3) Expertise in creating and delivering compelling and persuasive presentations;
(4) Highly disciplined with the ability to work independently.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive and ranges from Rs. 12 to 15 lacs per annum plus incentives. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
