Enumeration Form Submission Mandatory for Draft Electoral Roll
The District Election Officer (DEO) and Deputy Commissioner of Dharwad, Snehal R., has clarified that voters who do not submit the Enumeration Form (EF) by 29 July 2026 will not have their names included in the draft electoral roll, as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The official also confirmed that there will be no extension of the submission deadline.

According to the district administration:
- Total Electors: 16,21,961
- Enumeration Forms Distributed: 15,19,544
- Coverage Achieved: 96.69%

The administration expects to complete 100% distribution of forms within the next two days.
Voters Not Found During Verification
During the door-to-door verification:
- 20,499 voters were not found at their registered addresses.
- 7,242 voters were identified as deceased.
- 27,594 voters were found to have permanently shifted.
Such voters must visit their respective polling stations with valid supporting documents. Otherwise, their names may not appear in the draft electoral roll.
Help for Voters
To assist citizens in filling out the Enumeration Forms, the district administration has established:
- 452 Voter Facilitation Centres
- Assistance from Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for completing and submitting the forms.
