Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2027: The Recruiting Office (HQ), Ambala has officially released the notification for Agniveer Intake 2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Unmarried male candidates from Ambala, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, and UT Chandigarh can apply online for various categories including Agniveer General Duty (GD), Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, and Tradesmen.
The online registration process started on 13 February 2026 and will continue until 01 April 2026. Candidates must apply through the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Agniveer GD: 10th pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject.
- Agniveer Technical: 10+2 Science (PCM + English) with 50% aggregate & 40% each subject OR 10th with ITI/Diploma.
- Agniveer Clerk/SKT: 10+2 in any stream with 60% aggregate & 50% each subject (English & Maths/Accounts mandatory).
- Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass): 10th pass with 33% in each subject.
- Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass): 8th pass with 33% in each subject.
Age Limit
Candidates born between 01 July 2005 to 01 July 2009 (both days inclusive). Age: 17½ to 21 Years.
Physical Standards
- Height: 170 cm (GD/Tech/Tradesmen), 162 cm (Clerk/SKT)
- Chest: 77 cm (+5 cm expansion)
- Weight: Proportionate to height & age
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Negative marking applies in CEE. Final merit is based on CEE marks, PFT marks (for GD/Tradesmen), and bonus marks.

- NCC ‘C’ – Up to 20 Marks
- Sports Quota – 5 to 20 Marks
