Role
Title: Director Finance
Location: Noida
Reports to: CEO
Overview & Key Responsibilities
A key member of the senior leadership team, s/he/they will be responsible for the Finance function and have the fiduciary responsibility for the overall working from the perspective of domestic and international compliances. The broad structure of responsibilities is noted below.
Accounting & Finance
Leading and guiding the finance team
Manage statutory compliances related to FCRA / CSR investment and support newer initiatives to ensure financial and statutory ease
Advise CEO & Board on finance strategy, policy and relevant developments
Ensure operations are efficient and effective in order to meet the organisation goals
Ensure the timely and accurate production of regular management accounts, financial and cash flow forecasts, statutory annual accounts and reports.
Establish world-class financial processes & practice
Liaise with external tax consultants, auditors and other agencies as required
Grants & Donor Management
Develop & implement effective financial management, control and monitoring systems across all programs and operations in India, including systems focused internally on the organization
Ensure all partnership and funding agreements with donors/govt are alignment with nasscom foundation’s
policies
Develop & monitor budgets to meet the needs of nasscom foundation, based on strategic and operational plans approved by the organization.
Prepare financial reports for programs/donors to facilitate decision-making and monitoring and meet donor requirements.
Review memorandum of understanding/agreements for partner organizations and oversee the negotiation of all service delivery contracts with various organizations/vendors.
Risk & Compliance Management
Ensure that financial systems are consistent with all the requirements of taxation legislation and statutory obligations in India.
Ensure that the statutory external audits and donor audits are managed effectively and required corrective action has been taken to strengthen the systems.
Ensure that nasscom foundation is managing all the internal & external risks effectively to meet Indian & Global regulations
Coordinate with Chief Executive Officer and ensuring that Board meetings are convened as per the regulations and minutes and reports are prepared and submitted.
Prepare required documents for the Board meeting with Board of Directors and the same is convened as per the schedule.
Key Requirements
CA or Post Graduate in accounts and finance with minimum 15+ years of post-qualification work experience in accountancy, audits, and taxation in sync with the aforesaid job responsibilities.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge and experience of non-profit/Development sector will be an added advantage.
People Management skills.
