Job Description:
Tecstub is looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer with solid frontend and backend capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress core, theme/plugin customization, and modern coding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Development:

Develop custom, responsive themes from scratch or designs (Figma/XD).

Build user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.

Ensure browser compatibility and fast page performance.

Integrate third-party APIs and services.
Backend Development:

Customize or create WordPress plugins and themes.
-
Work with custom post types, taxonomies, shortcodes, and REST API.

Implement security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable features (e.g., WooCommerce, multilingual).

Handle hosting, domain management, and deployment.
Requirements:

1–4 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.

Strong in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.

Knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, and API architecture.

Hands-on with Git, SEO, caching, and ACF, Elementor, WooCommerce.

Understanding of security and scalable systems.
Preferred (Good to Have):

Experience with Headless WordPress or JAMstack.

Familiarity with Laravel or React.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

Agile/Scrum project experience.
