Tamil Nadu Class 12 Result 2025 to Be Declared on May 8: All You Need to Know

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has announced a revised release date for the Class 12 (HSC) results 2025. The results, originally scheduled for May 9, will now be declared a day earlier — on May 8, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi will officially release the results at Anna Centenary Library, Chennai.

Exam Statistics and Participation

As per data from the School Education Department:

Over 8 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 public examination
The exams were conducted between March 3 and March 25, 2025
A total of 7,518 higher secondary schools participated
Nearly 12,000 students were absent from the examination
