About the Role
This position focuses on building partnerships and projects to advance food security, sustainable agriculture, and improved nutritional health. Key areas include:
- Climate-smart agriculture.
- High-yield, environment-friendly crop management.
- Research on crop genetics, microbiomes, and sustainable food production.
- Reduction of food loss, waste, and promotion of healthy diets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement impactful projects in agriculture and food systems in India.
- Lead coordination with stakeholders, including government bodies, research institutions, and international organizations.
- Represent the foundation externally, fostering networks and partnerships.
- Contribute to strategic documents, M&E frameworks, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with HQ in Denmark as part of hybrid global teams.
Qualifications
Essential
- Education: Master’s or PhD in plant science, agriculture, or related fields.
- Experience: 10+ years in research, government, or academia, with international collaboration experience preferred.
- Strong network with Indian stakeholders in sustainable agriculture and food systems.
- Expertise in communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
