Role Objective
To provide academic, healthcare, and therapeutic interventions for special needs students, ensuring they achieve their highest potential.
Key Responsibilities
For Students
- Oversee mental and behavioral health services for students with IEPs/504 plans.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Identify and assess students requiring special education.
- Facilitate IEP meetings and manage case services.
For Parents/Families
- Deliver quarterly progress reports to parents/guardians.
- Explain special education processes and assist with accessing resources.
For School Personnel
- Coordinate with teams to complete IEP-related documentation and reports.
- Advise school principals on programs for special needs students.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Master’s degree (Special Education, Counseling, or Social Work preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a related field.
Competencies
- Technical: Proficiency in clinical interventions and community resource knowledge.
- Behavioral: Strong communication, relationship-building skills, and teamwork abilities.
Working Hours
Timings: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
