Job Description:

KATALYSTCS is seeking an experienced IT L2 Support Engineer with a background in the hospitality industry to provide advanced technical support and ensure the seamless operation of IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT issues to minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Manage and monitor IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
  • Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct system audits and generate reports to identify and address potential issues.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
  • Provide training and guidance to customers to enhance their technical skills.
  • Work with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues.
  • Document all support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Manage and resolve customer queries, handling escalations and complaints.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products and technologies.
  • Proactively manage help desk and maintain support cases as per company standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1 year in L2 support.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
  • Experience with hospitality industry software and systems (e.g., PMS, POS, CRM tools) is a plus.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
