Job Description:
KATALYSTCS is seeking an experienced IT L2 Support Engineer with a background in the hospitality industry to provide advanced technical support and ensure the seamless operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT issues to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Manage and monitor IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct system audits and generate reports to identify and address potential issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
- Provide training and guidance to customers to enhance their technical skills.
- Work with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues.
- Document all support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Manage and resolve customer queries, handling escalations and complaints.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products and technologies.
- Proactively manage help desk and maintain support cases as per company standards.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1 year in L2 support.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
- Experience with hospitality industry software and systems (e.g., PMS, POS, CRM tools) is a plus.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
