Headquartered in Chennai, it has branch offices in various cities including Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Imphal, Jaipur, Ranchi, Nagpur, and Mumbai, with plans to establish an office in Assam shortly.
About the Project
SAATHII, in collaboration with the Central TB Division, is setting up the State Technical Support Unit (STSU) in Assam to provide strategic support to the State TB Cell. This unit will manage large-scale private sector engagement, strategic purchasing, effective contract management, Direct Benefit Transfer, and multi-sectoral collaborations to enhance TB control interventions in both the private and public sectors.
Position Summary
SAATHII is seeking a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Expert for STSU in Guwahati, Assam. This role involves providing strategic guidance on engaging private healthcare providers and facilitating inter-sectoral coordination and resource mobilization.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Provide overall policy inputs and strategic support related to different PPPs under NTEP to the State TB Cell.
- Develop the operational framework for already approved PPP guidance under NTEP.
- Assist the State TB Cell in developing private partnerships and identifying PPP areas.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies of PPPs and develop financial models and bid parameters.
- Develop partner selection guidelines, tender documents, advertise for partners, facilitate pre-bid meetings, evaluate tenders, and manage transactions.
- Manage partner and contract relationships for the State TB Cell.
- Provide technical advice and capacity building for the State TB Cell.
- Develop MIS systems and documentation for PPP initiatives.
- Perform any other PPP-related tasks as required by the State TB Cell.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skill-Set
- Postgraduate degree in management, PGDHM (2 Years full-time AICTE approved), finance, economics, life sciences, or social sciences from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and managing health sector projects, with significant experience in PPP projects.
- Experience working with state governments and handling policy discussions and negotiations with senior policymakers.
- Experience with private healthcare providers or handling clinical and non-clinical hospital services and ancillary support services is an added advantage.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with working knowledge of the local language.
- Willingness to be based in Guwahati and travel extensively (12-15 days/month).
- Proficiency in using the internet, MS Office™ software, and data analytics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a complex, multicultural environment.
Salary
The indicative salary is Rs 90,000 per month, and it will be determined based on the candidate's last drawn salary as per the organization's policy.
