Title: Regenerative Project Coordinator
Location: New Delhi, India
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed term for 1 year (with possibility of extension)
Starting Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination:
    • Planning, fundraising support, communication, report writing, resource, and budget coordination.
  2. Promotion of Regenerative Cotton Production:
    • Engaging smallholder cotton farmers in adopting climate-smart and regenerative agricultural practices.
  3. Data Collection and Analysis:
    • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on greenhouse gas emissions, soil carbon sequestration, and other climate-related metrics.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborating with various stakeholders including farmers, NGOs, government agencies, etc., to coordinate regenerative agriculture initiatives.
  5. Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Strengthening:
    • Facilitating knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning among teams, partners, and farmers.
  6. Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Supporting partners in monitoring and reporting of regenerative agriculture interventions.
  7. Fundraising Support:
    • Assisting in preparing funding proposals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in agriculture, environmental science, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years working with smallholder farmers in promoting regenerative agriculture.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of regenerative agriculture principles, data analysis, and communication skills. Fluency in English required, proficiency in local languages beneficial.
