Norstella is hiring for the role of Accounts Payable Assistant. This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity for graduates with experience in accounting or finance. You will handle invoices, process payments, reconcile accounts, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time.
Verify supplier invoices and enter them into the accounting system.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Process employee expenses and corporate card statements.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.
Maintain positive relationships with vendors by responding promptly to inquiries.
Escalate priority issues to management when needed.
Assist with audit preparations and participate in system implementations.
Contribute to improving processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
Graduate in any discipline; accounting degree preferred.
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Familiarity with multi-currency accounting and UK VAT practices is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to work with both finance and non-finance teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
