Jonas Falk, who is suspected of smuggling large amounts of cocaine into Sweden in connection with the large Playau investigation, is charged with attempting to extort 100 million kronor from Fastator's former CEO Joachim Kuylenstierna . A 61-year-old female relative of Falk is also charged with aiding and abetting attempted aggravated extortion. The charges against Falk include attempted arson.
– I believe that the crime is particularly serious because it went on for over a year, while the investigation shows that both the company manager and his colleagues received very serious threats and that an arson attack was carried out with the aim of putting pressure on the company manager, says prosecutor Anna Stråth in a statement.
According to DI , a preliminary investigation is also underway into a third person who is abroad. He is said to have taken over the mission and ordered the bombing of Kuylenstierna while Jonas Falk was in custody.
Falk has, despite his denials, been in custody since October 2024. In December, five men were convicted of carrying out attempted aggravated blackmail, unlawful threats and aggravated arson on behalf of Falk and the woman.
The trial against Falk and the woman's relative will start on April 28 in Södertörn District Court.
