Position: Communication Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the organization's website.
- Engage with existing volunteers and donors while attracting new ones through effective content.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather content and update the website regularly.
Internal and External Correspondence:
- Manage internal communications such as children's reports, case studies, field stories, event-related updates, and meeting minutes (MOMs).
- Handle external communications, including the annual report, global giving reports, newsletters, and funder reports.
- Oversee volunteer communication, such as inductions, certificates, and volunteer meets.
- Design or coordinate the creation of communication materials.
Fundraising Support:
- Identify and apply for relevant awards and grants.
- Manage donor communication, including sending reports and forms to the donor base.

Mandatory Requirements:

Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Mass Communication, BA, or an equivalent qualification.
1–2 years of work experience in the development sector, media, or related fields.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English.
Competency in PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe.
Attention to detail is crucial.
