DataCite is offering grants through its Global Access Fund (GAF) to support research organizations in underrepresented regions. Below are the key details:
About the Organization
DataCite is a global community dedicated to making research outputs and resources openly available and connected. The organization focuses on enhancing the discovery and reuse of research outputs by enabling the creation and management of persistent identifiers (PIDs) and integrating services to improve research workflows.
About the Fund
The Global Access Fund (GAF) is designed to increase accessibility to DataCite infrastructure services and enhance the visibility of research outputs from communities that are currently underrepresented in the global open science infrastructure landscape. The GAF is part of DataCite’s Global Access Program (GAP), made possible through a grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
