Job Description:

KATALYSTCS is seeking an experienced IT L2 Support Engineer with a background in the hospitality industry to provide advanced technical support and ensure the seamless operation of IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT issues to minimize disruption to business operations.
Manage and monitor IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct system audits and generate reports to identify and address potential issues.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
Provide training and guidance to customers to enhance their technical skills.
Work with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues.
Document all support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Manage and resolve customer queries, handling escalations and complaints.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products and technologies.
Proactively manage help desk and maintain support cases as per company standards.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1 year in L2 support.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
Experience with hospitality industry software and systems (e.g., PMS, POS, CRM tools) is a plus.
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in Windows and/or Linux environments.
Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
