Overview: The Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) is a prestigious two-year Certificate Program in Public Policy and Management offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Initiated by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, in collaboration with State Skill Development Missions (SSDMs), MGNF aims to foster economic development and skill enhancement across rural India.
Certificate: Upon successful completion of the program requirements, participants receive the Certificate of Public Policy and Management from the respective IIM.
National Rollout: MGNF 2021-23 will be implemented nationally across more than 660 districts in India. The program is managed by nine IIMs, with IIM Bangalore overseeing the common admission process.
