Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the State FRA Cell to undertake campaign on Forest Rights Act in Jharkhand and engage with all the stakeholders at the various levels.
Facilitate training to CSO partners on FRA and create pool of resource persons, community cadres for the effective implementation of FRA on the ground.
Facilitate awareness generation of the communities on the provisions and procedures of FRA.
Delegation of team to deliberate on the issues of FRA implementation to the policy makers,
administration and political bodies.
Building capacities of FRCs, Gram Sabha and other committees pertaining to FRA implementation.
To ensure convergence among Welfare Department, Revenue Department and Forest Department for claim settlement.
Facilitate training of District Level Committee (DLC) and Sub Division Level Committee (SLDC) members with support from Welfare Department.
Development of training manual, operational guidelines and IEC materials for FRA implementation.
Support partners engaged in FRA in convening district consultations to sort out issues arising out of FRA implementation with the government department.
Coordination and management with key stakeholders, CSO partners engaged in FRA implementation.
