Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager- IT is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the IT team and the end users. The individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing hardware, software, and network systems. In addition, the Assistant Manager- IT will assist with the implementation of IT projects and provide training and support to end users.
Your Goals, Responsibilities and Key Activities:
Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and software, network connectivity, and security.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software, including servers, workstations, printers, and other peripherals.
Assist with the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
Provide training and support to end-users on the use of hardware, software, and network systems.
Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software.
Monitor and maintain network and system security, including backups and virus protection.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and procedures.
Participate in meetings and provide input on IT-related issues.
Managing end user support for Office 365 services: - Outlook, MS Teams, One drive, SharePoint
Required experience and qualifications:
BCA / B Tech or equivalent
Diploma in computer science engineering or equivalent required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support or IT-related field preferred.
Preference shall be given to the candidates from development sector
Knowledge of computer hardware and software, network systems, and security.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows OS, and other commonly used software applications.
Experience troubleshooting Office 365 services, including Outlook, Exchange, and Microsoft Team
Nature of Appointment:
The selected candidate shall be on a fixed term employment contract for one year and shall be renewed depending upon the requirements of the role and satisfactory performance.
Compensation offered:
The gross remuneration budgeted for the position shall be commensurate with the qualifications, relevant experience, pay parity and interview performance of the selected candidate.
