The Tamil Nadu Producers' Council announced that they have issued red cards to five actors. Rumours suggest that Simbu, Vishal, SJ Suryah, Atharvaa and Yogi Babu are the five stars.
Simbu on Thursday made a grand re-entry on social media platforms. Back in 2017, Simbu made a conscious decision of quitting Twitter and Facebook as it became a breeding place for negativity. After three years, Simbu is now back on all social media platforms. His first post on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram is a video of himself undergoing a physical transformation in the last few months.
SIMBU IS BACK ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Simbu enjoys a loyal fan following in Tamil Nadu especially among youngsters. Irrespective of whether his film releases or not, they stand by their idol through thick and thin. In several interviews, Simbu had said that he is forever indebted to his fans.
To mark his arrival on social media, Simbu posted a video of himself hitting the gym, undergoing physical transformation and learning kalari. His Twitter handle goes by the name, @SilambarasanTR. At the time of writing this story, his account was followed by 35.1k people. His Twitter account is yet to be verified.
The video ends with the words, "When the student is ready, the teacher arrives."
Simbu posted the same video on his official Instagram profile. Unlike his Twitter account, his Instagram page was verified and had a blue tick. With two posts, Simbu had 108k followers on the photo-sharing site.
On the eve of Independence Day 2017, Simbu announced that he will be bidding goodbye to social media and deactivated his Twitter and Facebook accounts. He said that it has become a place for negativity and asked people to spread love.
In a statement, he wrote, "In spite of negativism, positivity was my forte but today’s social media !!! Negativity is too dominating, and I’m scared to be a part."
