Smt. R.M.Prajapati Arts College is located at Satlasana in Mehsana district of Gujarat State. Satlasana is a taluka place on Gandhinagar- Ambaji highway, 8 km away from Dharoi Dam on the Sabarmati river as well as 6 km away from the historical monuments of ‘Taranga hill’.
In 2003, a new building of college was built up with the help of a donor ‘Shri Babulal Punamchand shah’, as a consequence, the name of the trust was changed and now it is recognized as ‘Shri Babulal Punamchand Shah Vidhya Shankul’. The new building is huge, modern and having all kind of facilities alond with the natural and peaceful surroundings.
Smt.R.M.Prajapati Arts College was established on June 29, 1996. The college has become educational hub in Gadhavada area. This college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University , Patan. The subjects offered here are English, Sanskrit, Gujarati, Hindi and Sociology as main subjects; as well as Sanskrit, Gujarati, Hindi and Sociology as subsidiary subjects. Besides Arts College , the trust manages ‘Kamalaba Technical Institute’, ‘Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University Study Centre’, ‘A Computer Training Centre’ and ‘A Language Laboratory’. The college has obtained excellent results in university examinations .The College takes active participation in co-extra curricular activities and has retained topmost performances in cultural activities held at university level.
