Facilitator for mainstream disability in the developmental programs of Caritas India and act as an anchor person for promoting gender inclusion in CBR programmes.

Output:
Be the Facilitator for mainstream disability in the developmental programs of Caritas India and act as an anchor person for promoting gender inclusion in CBR programmes.
Primary Role
Administration/Managerial
• To study the current developmental programs of Caritas India and determine the scope of disability mainstreaming in them.
• Ensure that Caritas India head office, regional offices, state offices and field offices are accessible and disabled-friendly.
• Take the step to see that the reports, IEC materials, website, newsletter etc., are accessible in all respects to persons with disabilities.
• Take steps in collaboration with the senior staff and the management to make the policies of Caritas India disability inclusive.
• Document and report the results of disability mainstreaming in the organization periodically.
• Ensure gender inclusion in all the programmes implemented by CI CBR and be a point person for any issues related to gender issues.
• Act as a resource person for training the field staff on gender inclusion and disability mainstreaming within and outside the organization.
• Support the CI CBR team and the DPO members to carry forward the dialogue process with the duty bearers in New Delhi.
• Facilitate a dialogue process at the state, national and international levels and enhance the visibility of the disability inclusion process at Caritas India
• Ability and willingness to independently undertake intensive travel to the project locations.

Relevant experience (Type/ Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role)
• Experience in the formation of women with/without disabilities and organizations of PwDs and capacity building of OPD members on leadership, laws, policies and schemes.

• MS Office
• Good oral and written communication skills particularly in English and Hindi

Educational qualifications (Threshold educational background required to execute the role)
• MSW / Masters or Graduate in Social Work with 3 -5 years in a similar role in developmental organizations with an in-depth understanding of the disability sector and disability mainstreaming in developmental projects.
