About The Program

The Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program aims to support deserving students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, particularly focusing on girl students, to become future technology leaders. This merit-cum-means based scholarship is for students enrolled in technology-based engineering undergraduate (UG) courses and 5-year integrated programs in the top 50 NIRF Engineering institutes, including IITs. Recipients of the scholarship, known as Bharti Scholars, will receive comprehensive financial support covering 100% of their annual fees, including meal and accommodation charges. Additionally, a laptop will be provided in the first year.

Bharti Airtel Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, was established in 2000 with the vision to help underprivileged children and youth realize their potential. The Foundation focuses on holistic quality education in rural India, especially for the girl child, and supports higher education programs in partnership with premier institutions. The flagship Satya Bharti School Program provides free quality education to thousands of underprivileged children in rural India. Eligibility Criteria

Confirmed admission in the first year of UG/5-year integrated courses in fields such as Electronics & Communication, Telecom, IT, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, Aerospace, and Emerging Technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, Machine Learning, Robotics) at the top 50 NIRF Engineering universities/institutes.
Must be a citizen and resident of India.
Family annual income should not exceed INR 8.5 lakh.
Applicants should not be recipients of any other scholarships or grants for the same purposes.

Benefits

Scholarship covers 100% of annual fees for the full duration of the U.G courses, including integrated courses for up to 5 years.
Hostel and mess fees are provided to all selected scholars.
Support for scholars staying in PG/outside hostel as per the hostel/mess charges of the institute.
Provision of a laptop for all Bharti Scholars.
Bharti Scholars undertake to voluntarily support at least one student financially after graduation and gainful employment.

Documents Required

Proof of identity (Aadhaar card).
Current year admission proof (admission letter, fee letter from the institution).
Marksheet of Class 12th.
JEE scorecard or university entrance exam scorecard (if applicable).
Income certificate/copy of income tax returns of parents.
Affidavit confirming income if parents are self-employed.
Bank account details and statement of the applicant and parent.
Bank account details of the institution.
Recent passport-sized photograph.
Documents related to extracurricular activities, achievements, part-time jobs, projects, innovations, etc.
Expense receipts/rent agreement (if staying in PG/rented accommodation), if applicable.
Statement of purpose (SOP).

Upload relevant documents.
