About the Project
The Kuposhan Mukt Gram Panchayat (KMGP) Project aims to address malnutrition among children in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, where 15% of children are wasted and 40% are underweight. The project will involve organizing health checkups and providing nutritious meals to children between 6 months and 60 months of age, followed by continuous counseling and monitoring for five months.
Job Responsibilities
Implement project activities on the ground.
Coordinate and consolidate project activities in Hardoi, UP.
Conduct field visits to support project implementation.
Identify, train, motivate, and manage on-ground personnel/peer educators.
Ensure capacity building of Sampushti Saathi/Field Supervisors and Poshan Mitra.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including HCL team members, PRI members, School Principals and Teachers, Doctors, Block health officials, ICDS department, AWW, ANMs, and ASHAs.
Organize medical camps and community meetings.
Manage the distribution of Nutri-mix, supplements, and medicines.
Manage local procurement, inventory, and supply chain.
Document lessons learned and collect content from field visits.
Develop and submit high-quality reports.
Manage project office/godown for hygienic storage of food material.
Handle administrative and control tasks as needed.
Required Skills
At least 2 years of experience in the health sector.
Functional ability to use MS Word and MS Excel.
Ability to save files and images for reporting.
Ability to generate reports as per provided formats.
Deep understanding of Hardoi's terrain, demography, and government offices.
Ability to work with women as colleagues and target audience.
