Job Description:-

About the organisation: Partners in Prosperity (PnP) established in 1998, is registered as a non-profit under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, Delhi, and authorized to receive foreign contributions and exempted from Income Tax under Section 12A and 80G. We function from our central office in New Delhi and camp offices in Hyderabad, Telangana; Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh; and Nainital, Uttarakhand. Our projects on soil, water, forests, fisheries, solar, biogas, animal husbandry, satellite monitoring, and community  resilience are helping our donors and clients implement their CSR mandate and complementing the Government's policies and UN SDGs.

1. Roles and Responsibilities

PnP is looking for an Accounts Executive to support day-to-day accounting operations, with functional responsibility for accounting, production of financial reports; proper maintenance of accounting records; accurate processing of financial transactions; and administration.

2. Brief Job Description

  • Maintain system of accounts and keep books and records on all transactions and assets.
  • Bills checking critically, processing, payment, vouchers, advances.
  • Data Entry in Accounting Software
  • Maintenance of books of accounts
  • Reconciliation of bank, advances to third parties & follow up.
  • Preparation of periodical financial reports
  • Inventory Monitoring & Control
  • Interactions with field teams, consultants, suppliers.
  • Maintenance of various monitoring sheets for internal consultants, overseas visitors,
  • auditors, Project Coordination units etc.
  • Handling correspondence on financial matters
  • Handling cash and Cash book maintenance
  • Familiarity with administrative support and logistics
  • Other day to day accounting functions
  • Liaison with local banks for bank account opening and create extension for farmers.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the competent authority in the Project.
  • Support in audit requirements and statutory compliances (FCRA, TDS, IT, GST etc) of the organization.

3. Must Have Qualifications and Attributes: The candidate should be a Post graduate/B.

Com with minimum 4-5 years of experience especially in NGO Sector. Excellent command over written, spoken English and Hindi is essential. Knowledge accounting software is a must. Candidates residing in South Delhi or nearby area will be given preference.
