The ODI World Cup schedule has been announced. The ICC announced the World Cup schedule at a media briefing in Mumbai on Tuesday. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan attended the event. The 46-day Cricket Mahakumbh will begin on October 5 with the England-New Zealand match in Ahmedabad, while the final match will be played on November 19 at the Ahmedabad Stadium.
Asia's biggest rivals India and Pakistan will clash on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This day will also be the first snow. Reserve day for knockout matches
Reserve days are kept in the schedule of knockout matches of the tournament. That means there will be a reserve day for both the semi-final and final matches. Reserve days have been kept for knockout matches in the World Cup earlier as well.
The World Cup will be played in 10 cities
The 2023 World Cup will be played in 10 cities. Ahmedabad (Narendra Modi Stadium), Bengaluru (M Chinnaswamy Stadium), Chennai (MA Chidambaram Stadium), Delhi (Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium), Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium), Hyderabad (Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal).
Apart from this, Kolkata (Eden Garden), Lucknow (Ekana Cricket Stadium), Mumbai (Wankhede Stadium), Pune (Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium) are included. Besides Hyderabad, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will host practice matches from September 29 to October 3.

10 teams are participating in it
This time 10 teams will participate in the World Cup. Hosts India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia and England have qualified directly for the 2023 ODI World Cup. Now the remaining two teams will come from the qualifier round.
