Because, these are the areas where the highest level of noise pollution is reported. 85 decibel sound level has been recorded in all these areas. That is, if the volume exceeds 80 decibels, it becomes dangerous for humans. Noise pollution in these areas has been compared to that of Delhi.
Students study noise pollution in the city
Because recently the students studying in the Department of Environment in the Government Science College in Ahmedabad city have conducted a survey under the guidance of their professor. In which the amount of noise pollution on four roads during peak hours at different places in the city has been studied in great detail.

In which the highest noise pollution has been reported in seven places of the city. The highest noise pollution is 85 decibels in Naranpura and Navarangpura. After this, noise pollution is 80 decibels at Akhbarnagar, Naroda Patia, Dhodasar Char Rasta, Pakwan Char Rasta, Kalupur Corridor. However, a noise barrier of up to 200 meters has been installed on the Pakwan overbridge to reduce noise pollution. Even so, the situation is alarming as the noise barrier does not seem to have any significant effect.
Mental problem arises if a person stays in 80 decibels continuously
In this survey, it has been found that around certain areas like silent zones, i.e. even in the nearest area of 400-500 meters, noise levels of 75 to 80 decibels have been observed. In science, it is said that if a person is constantly exposed to 80 decibel noise, then he gets deafness, irritability, chemical reactions i.e. enzymes in his body also start to change, his mental balance is also not seen. Due to which problems may arise in his personal life as well.

Noise has a lot of impact on people's lives
Prof. Dr. Chirag Shah said that we have conducted a survey on the noise pollution of Ahmedabad city from March 18 to 25. In which the manner in which noise pollution occurs and its place of origin and its effects are surveyed. In which the most traffic jam occurs on the four roads of different peak hours of Ahmedabad, from 9.30 am to 11 pm and between 6 to 8 pm, when the income of equipment is high, noise pollution is high during which the students used a device called noise level meter. In its survey, which measures the noise level in decibels by taking readings every 5 minutes, it was found that four roads in Navarangpura and Naranpura have the highest level of noise. The least noise pollution has been observed in Shahibagh area. The reasons behind this is that the number of vehicles in the city is increasing day by day. Due to which the traffic problem has arisen. Noise has many effects on people's lives.
People feel irritated by traffic and noise
A person living near Pakwan Char Road said that the constant honking of traffic and vehicles is irritating. People are causing noise pollution by honking in traffic which should not be done.
Status of other cities in India in WHO report
In the latest WHO report, Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest noise pollution in India at 114 decibels. This was followed by 89 decibels in Kolkata, 89 decibels in Asansol, 84 decibels in Jaipur and 83 decibels in Delhi.
The condition of Ahmedabad is alarming compared to other cities
If the noise pollution in these cities is compared with the noise pollution of Ahmedabad, the situation is really alarming. Because the norms issued by the United Nations also state that people living in noise pollution of more than 70 decibels experience constant stress and the problem of sleeping disorders also arises.
What is the ideal measure of noise pollution?
The noise level in the city should be between 60 and 40 decibels (decibels being the unit of measurement of sound). Various places like schools, temples, hospitals, police stations have silent zones where the sound level should be 45 to 50 decibels.

Commercial areas should have 65 decibels during the day and 55 decibels at night and industrial areas should have 75 decibels during the day and 65 decibels at night.
